WFP and Climate Change: Helping Countries Increase Climate Resilience to Achieve Zero Hunger

World Food Programme (WFP) works with partners to design and implement a range of programming tools to increase climate resilience, employing integrated climate risk management, disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation approaches. WFP’s aim is to allow food insecure communities, institutions and governments to prepare for, respond to and recover from climate shocks.
This guide presents climate and food security analyses which aid in understanding the impacts of climate change on vulnerable people’s food security and nutrition, the possible adaptation actions they can take, and aim to help decision makers identify the most appropriate policies and programmes to implement.
