YOUTH, CLIMATE ACTION AND NDCs

The NDC Partnership together with UNICEF will host a webinar on Youth, Climate Action and NDCs on 24 September. This event will share country insights on youth engagement in NDCs from the Partnership, UNICEF will share best practices for integrating youth in the updated NDCs in 2020, and youth representatives will provide country case studies. The event will feature both presentations and Q&A. 

Youth and children globally are among the most vulnerable groups to the impacts of climate change. However, youth have shown they are active agents for change and are ready to take on climate action. The objective of this event is to share guidance and examples on how countries can incorporate youth in their NDCs during the ongoing NDC updating process. 

This event is supported the NDC Partnership, a country-driven, member-led initiative working to accelerate climate and development action.
