Understanding Southeast Asia’s New Climate Pledges: A Deep Dive into Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore
ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute and the NDC Partnership Support Unit are launching a joint series on ASEAN countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), beginning with a discussion focused on Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
As countries submit and implement their NDCs under the Paris Agreement, the series will provide a platform for ASEAN member states to share perspectives on their NDC 3.0 targets, discuss common challenges and explore opportunities for enhanced regional climate cooperation.
The first session will offer insights into topics such as mobilizing international climate finance, advancing the energy transition and emerging domestic climate legislation among these three countries.
This webinar is for anyone interested in ASEAN politics, economy and sociocultural landscape, particularly in relation to climate change.
