London Climate Action Week - NDCs at the Heart of COVID-19 Responses
Details
The global pandemic and its health, economic and societal impacts have brought a new layer of complexity to our urgent need for climate action. Countries have been forced to rethink their national economic growth strategies as resources are shifted to strengthening health systems, promoting business recovery and restoring ways of live for all those affected – essentially everyone. In response, the NDC Partnership is working to deploy economic advisory support to ministries of finance and planning to integrate climate actions in their recovery planning. During this event, the NDC Partnership will showcase its delivery model for deploying embedded advisors in finance/planning ministries, the type of advisory support available, and expected results.
