Knowledge Portal Training on the Project Preparation Support Database (PPSD)

This training will present the Project Preparation Support Database (PPSD), a searchable database of international, regional, national and subnational project preparation facilities (PPFs) and climate-focused incubators and accelerators, designed to improve access to climate-aligned project preparation and business development support.
The database enables project developers, investors, Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and startups to identify relevant resources for developing bankable projects and scaling climate-aligned business models, supporting the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
The training, relevant for climate practitioners across emerging markets and developing economies — including public and private project developers, financial actors, MSMEs and startups — will feature a live demonstration of the database, and participants will also have the opportunity to engage with the team through a Q&A session.
The session, which also includes a brief overview of the Knowledge Portal, will also highlight contributions from the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA) and the United Kingdom’s Climate Finance Accelerator (UK CFA), which supported the development of the database.
