In 2026, San Giorgio participants are coming together to consider where and how we can leverage our unique positions to advance the policy and finance solutions that are needed for sustainable economic development. The meeting will focus on three key areas: the future of global cooperation for development and climate, what needs to happen to make all infrastructure resilient and how to support countries at all levels of development to more effectively mobilize domestic resources to meet their climate and development needs.
About the San Giorgio Group
The San Giorgio Group convenes global leaders from government, business and financial institutions to grapple with the most consequential challenges and opportunities in climate and sustainable finance. It prioritizes frank input, a focus on practical solutions and connecting diverse participants to break down silos and accelerate action.
The Climate Policy Initiative organizes the San Giorgio Group. Established in collaboration with the World Bank Group, China Light & Power, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the group has convened 11 times since 2010.
