COP31: Meet the Experts — Nature-Based Solutions Unlocked

As countries implement their NDC commitments, nature-based solutions present a critical opportunity to tap into the synergies of climate, biodiversity, people, livelihoods, and equitable governance. A total of 76 countries (70% of the 109 countries requesting support through the NDC Partnership) have submitted 914 requests for support through the NDC Partnership on the topic of nature and biodiversity, making up nearly one-fifth of all requests for support. This support has been delivered by close to 100 partners globally.

Through a rapid-fire question and answer panel, this event will bring together NDC Partnership members and other leading experts on nature-based solutions to share lessons learned, showcase country-led progress, and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration.
