COP30: Unlocking Climate Finance: Scaling Green Guarantees through Multilateral Action

This COP30 session will showcase concrete progress toward systematically advancing the deployment of guarantee solutions, not only through risk-sharing but also by strengthening the technical assistance capacity of national development banks. This approach supports country-led investment strategies by equipping national development banks and public financiers with the tools and know-how to structure and deploy guarantees effectively. 

The session will also feature the new GGG Guarantee Directory as a matchmaking tool, alongside innovations emerging from the FiCS Lab that connect experimentation on guarantees with systemic scaling — spotlighting how guarantees can deliver transformational investment alliances.
