As part of World Water Week, a global convening that brings together policymakers, practitioners, researchers and civil society to advance solutions to water, climate and development challenges, join the session "Advancing Water–Climate Action Through Technical Assistance and Partnerships."
The panel discussion and fireside chat will highlight how the Netherlands Water Technical Assistance Facility, through the NDC Partnership, is enabling developing countries to translate priorities on water governance into action. The session will highlight countries' approaches to addressing water-related issues including improved water resource mapping, strengthening regulatory frameworks, developing investment pipelines and embedding advisors to reinforce institutional coordination. It will also explore approaches to integrating water priorities into NDC implementation, from policy planning to project preparation and climate finance mobilization.
