Prakriti Naswa

Prakriti is a developmental economist specializing in climate resilience and financing for resilient and green economic transition. In her role as a country engagement specialist based out of Bonn, she is supporting the partnership’s engagement and knowledge strategies in Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Pacific.

Before joining the Support Unit, she worked for the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre in Bangkok, supporting their capacity development work. She also worked for the Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (Malaysia), leading their programme on building constituencies and developing the climate and gender programme. She offers expertise in socio-economic impact assessments, capacity strengthening, and evidence-based policy advisory.

Prakriti holds a doctoral degree in climate risk management through nature-based solutions from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
