Isabel Pasternack

Isabel is a Country Engagement Specialist at the NDC Partnership Support Unit based in Bonn, Germany. In her role, she works with governments and international organizations to support countries in achieving their climate commitments under the Paris Agreement.

Before joining the Support Unit, Isabel worked as an advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. In different projects both at GIZ Headquarters and abroad, she has been focusing on global water governance, environmental management, and integrated resources management through a Water-Energy-Food Security Nexus. 

Isabel holds a MSc in Agricultural and Food Economics from the University of Bonn and a BA in International Economics and Development from the University of Bayreuth.
