Bruno Vargas

Bruno Vargas is a PAF Support Senior Associate with the NDC Partnership Support Unit and is based in Lima, Peru. He supports the management, monitoring and reporting of the Partnership Action Fund (PAF) portfolio, overseeing project implementation progress, financial performance, grant compliance and reporting across a diverse portfolio of climate action initiatives. His work focuses on project performance analysis, financial oversight and grant management to support the implementation of NDCs. 

Bruno brings extensive experience in international development and financial management, having worked with United Nations agencies and international organizations in Peru, including UNOPS, UNFPA, UNHCR and International IDEA. Prior to joining the Support Unit, he managed financial operations and donor-funded projects in areas such as governance, infrastructure, humanitarian response and sustainable development. 

He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Lima and has completed specialized training in finance and economic development, including the Central Reserve Bank of Peru's Advanced Finance Program.
