Amita Thapa Magar

Amita is embedded with the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation (MoEWRI) and works closely with the Climate Change Management Division, Ministry of Forest and Environment. She has extensive experience including implementing a landmark Nepal Government initiative on local climate adaptation plans and providing advisory support for post-earthquake reconstruction in Nepal and has also worked professionally in the Philippines and Australia. Amita holds a master's degree from the Australian National University.
