Aida Aliyeva

Aida Aliyeva is the In-Country Facilitator embedded within the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan. She has a background in environmental policy and international relations, with experience across government, private industry, and international organizations. She has worked in Kazakhstan’s ministries, the private sector in Japan, and UN organizations, contributing to global climate initiatives. Aida played a key role in Kazakhstan’s LT-LEDS development and NDC updates, focusing on climate policy, strategic planning, and international cooperation.
