Robert Bakiika

Robert Bakiika serves as the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Uganda and is embedded in Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Water and Environment. In executing this consultancy role, Robert supports on-going coordination efforts between the NDC Partnership, non-members, and the government of Uganda. In addition, he provides technical support, tracks and reports partner progress against the implementation of the Uganda NDC Partnership Plan. Robert is a scientist with over 10 years’ work experience in environment, climate change and sustainable development related issues. He is actively involved in the climate finance negotiations under the UNFCCC and sits on the Technical Working Group of the Policy Committee on Environment.
