Julianne is the Knowledge Management Specialist for the NDC Partnership Support Unit. She focuses on developing high impact global knowledge products, capturing key insights from the Partnership’s engagement in-country and enhancing collaboration among decision-makers to advance climate action. Julianne has over 10 years of experience working in the intersection of environmental conservation and development.
Prior to joining WRI, she was responsible for strategic decision-making and team growth as Engineering Manager of Mapbox's Satellite team. Julianne also worked for 3 years on research and project implementation for the World Bank, focusing on urban resilience, climate change and gender. She has worked on knowledge and partnership management at organizations like The University of California, Berkeley's Center for Effective Global Action and Yale University's MacMillan Center and she has worked in the field in Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
She holds a Master in Environmental Management from Yale University and Bachelor of Science in Tropical Biology from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. When she’s not in the office, you are likely to find Julianne exploring the tropical beaches and forests of her home country, Costa Rica.
