Dinh Thai Hung
Vietnam In-Country Facilitator
Dinh Thai Hung is the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Viet Nam and is embedded within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. He has a background in environmental protection, natural disaster forecast and warning, climate change response and sustainable development attained from higher education in the University of Tokyo, Japan as well as working experiences in different organizations such as universities, scientific and training institutes, and governmental agencies. He has been an assistant of the Permanent Representative of Vietnam with World Meteorological Organization for 8 years and focal point for number of bilateral and multilateral international cooperation projects/programs. He is an experienced expert in working with national and international organizations/ agencies in local and central levels. He has participated and contributed into the development of laws and legislations on environmental protection, hydrology and meteorology, natural disaster prevention and sustainable development.
