Denis Kireche

Denis is a Country Engagement Specialist at the NDC Partnership Support Unit in Bonn, Germany. He supports NDC enhancement, target setting, and action planning in francophone Africa and MENA.

Before joining the Support Unit, he was a technical advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Cameroon, focusing on capacity building and private sector engagement to effectively implement the EU Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) framework. Prior to this role, he has been working for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ethiopia at the Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development Cluster on private sector promotion programmes in the agribusiness sector.  

Denis holds a MA in International Development from the University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne and a BA in Sociology from the University of Paris X Nanterre.
