David Levy

David Levy is a Country Engagement Finance Specialist at the NDC Partnership Support Unit. His work includes supporting countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean to access financing for their Nationally Development Contributions (NDC) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) investment needs.

Throughout his career, mostly at the IDB Invest, David has worked in transaction processing and closing, including PPPs, sustainability, the environment, climate change, strategy development and implementation, and advisory services. His work has been in partnership with other multilateral organizations, government entities, other financial institutions, private sector, donors, and nonprofit organizations to mobilize and leverage additional financial and non-financial resources and to maximize results. David headed teams in closing more than 30 loan, equity, and project financing transactions, including with grant financing component.
