Maman Zakara Oumarou

Mali In-Country Facilitator

Maman Zakara Oumarou is the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator in Mali. He holds a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in Applied Ecology, received advanced training in climate change mitigation and adaptation at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) in Norrköping, Sweden, and recently completed a certificate in NDC financing at the Frankfurt School of Economics. He has over 15 years of experience in climate change and development and management of projects. From 2013 to 2019 he coordinated major climate change adaptation programmes funded by Sweden and Norway for the benefit of vulnerable local communities in Mali.
