Sao Tome and Principe In-Country Facilitator
Darnel Hélio de Sousa Baía is the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Sao Tome and Principe and supports both the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, Natural Resource and Environment and the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Blue Economy. He is a Chemical Engineer and Environmental Science specialist. He is currently a national consultant on climate change, national contact point for the Rotterdam Convention and responsible for national mercury inventory in Sao Tome and Principe. He previously served as a Chemistry professor and technical assistant in the General Directorate of the Environment.
