Bashiru Koroma

Sierra Leone In-Country Facilitator

Bashiru Koroma is the NDC Partnership In-Country Facilitator for Sierra Leone. He holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Environmental Sciences from Njala University, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the African Leadership University School of Business (ALUSB), and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus in environmental health from Njala University. Bashiru is also a Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) and a United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) MENTOR-PACE Fellow. He has over 12 years of experience in conservation leadership, natural resource management, sustainable ecotourism, environmental health, and climate justice activism. Bashiru has served as the Deputy Focal Person for the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) Sierra Leone Chapter, Product Planning and Development Officer at the National Tourist Board Sierra Leone, and Community Ecotourism Outreach Officer for the Environmental Foundation for Africa (EFA). Bashiru was involved in the development of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) for Sierra Leone.
