COP28: Shaping a green future: Models, Strategies and Mechanisms of Climate Finance in Colombia

A panel discussion will be held between the National Planning Department, Procolombia, and the Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN) to discuss the architecture of climate financing and funding opportunities in the country. The topics for discussion will include: -Proposal of the climate financing model through the Climate Financing Corridor to create market conditions that enhance investment signals and scale up the channeling of international and private resources for the fulfillment of the NDC (Nationally Determined Contributions). -Presenting ProColombia's Sustainable Development Investment Strategy and the financing opportunities available in the Colombian market. -Debt and combined financing mechanisms from the National Development Bank for funding infrastructure projects with a focus on climate change management.
