The side-event will give space to showcase Maldives' efforts on building resilience through integrated coastal zone management and efforts undertaken through Maldives' Green Climate Fund supported activity with delivery partner JICA.

Contents: The overview of the project and duration in the future
Background: This project will address vulnerable small islands by enhancing coastal management, including the protective functions of natural sandy beaches and coral reefs. It will do this through integrated coastal zone management, early warning and early action, and knowledge sharing.
