Medeia Inashvili

Georgia Facilitator

Medeia Inashvili is imbedded with the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. She graduated from Ivane javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and has worked in the climate change field in both adaptation and mitigation. She has an extensive background working with government, having worked for the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia (now Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture), Climate Change. She also worked as the Regional Coordinator for Caucases at the EU Clima East project for Eastern partnership countries. Medeia has been an UNFCCC Expert Reviewer for Annex I Parties’ national GHG inventories and Nat Comms and BURs as well as a member of the Kyoto Protocol Adaptation Fund Board, and has served as both vice-chair and chair of the AFB Finance and Ethics Committee.
