Madeleine Walshak is the Communications Project Coordinator for the NDC Partnership Support Unit. In her role, she supports the Communications team in creating and publishing multimedia and social content, as well as actively supports project management for core Comms functions including editorial and events. She also oversees team administration activities through processing translation requests, invoices and contracts.
Prior to joining the Partnership, Madeleine held positions at the Edwards Aquifer Authority, a regional water management agency, where she supported communications & development planning to launch an Education Outreach Center. Madeleine also previously worked with the Texas Butterfly Ranch’s Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival, leading on digital communications, graphic design, project coordination and event management.
Madeleine holds a B.A. in Economics & Environmental Policy from Trinity University. During her time at University, she conducted biological field research in Costa Rica, as well as worked for the Blackwood Educational Land Institute and the Outdoor Recreation Department.
