Country Engagement Consultant
Chloe Godefroy is a Country Engagement Consultant for the NDC Partnership Support Unit, and is based at the UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn. Her work focuses on supporting countries to achieve their mitigation and adaptation goals through the implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
Prior to joining the Partnership, Chloé completed a Master’s degree in international relations, specializing in development issues, at the Sciences Po institute in Lille. Passionate about human rights and environmental issues, Chloe wrote her thesis on environmental migrations and how this issue was addressed in COPs 21 and 22.
Chloe has previously worked as an intern with the mission of Paraguay to the UN in Geneva, supporting the team in the preparation of the Human Rights Council. She has also been a research assistant at the Sciences Po International Research Institute in Paris (CERI), where she conducted research on the perception of migrants in Europe.
