Knowledge Management and Finance Analyst

Chiagozie is a Knowledge Management and Finance Analyst for the NDC Partnership Support Unit. In his role, he conducts research and analyses on countries’ climate finance needs, international climate financing mechanisms, and resource mobilization for NDC implementation. He also supports maintenance of the NDC Partnership's Knowledge Management System (kNook), and Knowledge Portal.

Prior to joining the Support Unit, Chiagozie worked as a Project Scientist with a private environmental consulting firm in the United States where he supported regulatory environmental compliance and due diligence activities. His work primarily assessed the environmental and social impacts of new wireless telecommunications infrastructure.

Chiagozie earned his master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, United States, with a specialization in Policy and Public Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Covenant University, Nigeria. His graduate thesis examined policies and actions of Multilateral Development Banks to mainstream the environment into development financing.
