Knowledge & Learning

The NDC Partnership equips countries with the knowledge and capacity they need to reach their climate goals and supports implementing and development partners to better deploy technical and financial support in alignment with countries’ NDC Action Plans. Learn more about the NDC Partnership Knowledge & Learning Strategy here.

The Knowledge Nook (kNook), the Partnership’s knowledge management system, is at the core of our trend analyses and learning processes.  The kNook catalogues a unique dataset of country requests to the Partnership and the support being delivered against them. Data inform knowledge products (e.g., Insight Briefs, Guidance Documents, and Best Practice Briefs) for the purposes of analyzing trends and helping fill gaps in support. Particular focus is given to sharing insights and promoting engagement around Finance, NDC Enhancement, Gender, and Youth, building on the Partnership’s strategies in these areas.

The Partnership brings members together to directly learn from one another and shares lessons to inspire broader action, this includes peer exchanges among countries, thematic discussions among experts, capacity building support for in-country facilitators and scaling up or course correction based on monitoring and evaluation of the Partnership’s work. For events, visit our events' page here.

Relevant resources and lessons are also shared broadly beyond the Partnership, including through the Knowledge Portal, the Partnership in Action Report, the Youth Engagement Forum, and participation in member events like the UNFCCC Regional Climate Weeks.
