In 2023, the NDC Partnership will launch the newest addition to the Knowledge Portal: the Climate Finance Bulletin, a digital platform for grant-giving entities to share their open and upcoming calls for proposals for short-term climate finance opportunities. The Partnership developed the Climate Finance Bulletin in direct response to feedback from Country Members and donor partners, who expressed a need for an online space where short-term climate finance calls could be consolidated and updated by different grant-giving partners. Through the upcoming launch of the Climate Finance Bulletin, the Partnership will create a shared space to improve visibility, coordination and access to information.  

The Bulletin will complement the Portal’s existing Climate Funds Explorer*, which provides a broad overview of long-term and large-scale public climate-financing opportunities. In addition, the Bulletin will serve as a more dynamic climate finance tool for members to directly submit their calls via a short web form. The Partnership will continue to solicit and source relevant non-member calls for proposals through its existing network and coordination mechanisms.   

Leveraging its large network of development partners, climate finance expertise and vast experience operating open-source knowledge platforms, the NDC Partnership will launch the Bulletin to bridge the gap between Country Members and other partners seeking finance, as well as institutional, development and philanthropic partners posting calls for proposals. Through the Climate Finance Bulletin, grant-giving entities will reach a wider audience of potential applicants, and those seeking finance will be able to find and apply for opportunities more efficiently.
