A course designed to educate policymakers on climate finance with a particular focus on renewable energy. Aimed at both public and private sector practitioners, including entrepreneurs, project developers, private investors, consultants, and policy professionals, this course focuses on furthering understanding in regards to why markets alone may not always be the solution to investment in climate projects, as well as the specifics of financing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and how investors evaluate risk. An interactive e-learning experience, this course includes video lectures, PDF scripts, exercises, online tests, and relevant case studies, as well as a discussion forum for course-related issues.
