Regional Specialist for Asia and the Pacific
Lee Cando is the NDC Partnership Support Unit's Regional Specialist for Asia and the Pacific, based at the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Center in Bangkok, Thailand. She is responsible for facilitating the NDC Partnership’s country engagement activities in the Asia and Pacific region, as well as representing the Partnership at national and regional events.
Lee brings 13 years of working experience on issues related to sustainable development and climate change policy analysis, project coordination, and program management. Prior to joining the NDC Partnership, she worked for various United Nations agencies such as the UN Development Programme-Global Environment Facility, UNICEF, and the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General. She has also worked for the GEF Independent Evaluation Office, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), and the International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS).
