Damdin Davgadorj, Ph.D

Dr. Damdin Davgadorj’s background is  experienced in the field of environmental issues, including Multilateral Environmental Agreements, Ecosystem modelling and Climate Change. He has worked for the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia at different senior positions. Dr. Damdin has been involved in numerous intergovernmental activities related to climate change issues including serving as the National Focal Point in Mongolia for the UNFCCC and IPCC and for many years.  He was also former Special Envoy on climate change of Mongolia from 2009 to 2015. He is a founder and Managing Director of the Climate Change-Development Academy, a non-profit and independent research and consultancy organization. 

 

This part time position is being temporary funded by the NDC Partnership Support Unit.
