Charlie Tomlinson is a Country Specialist for the NDC Partnership Support Unit. He provides a variety of analytical and research services to help the NDC Partnership assist countries in reaching the goals of the Paris Agreement. His work focuses on developing and implementing the Partnership’s country engagement strategy.
Charlie has an MSc in Climate Change and International Development from the University of East Anglia; the degree is formed through the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, Climatic Research Unit (CRU), and the School of International Development. As part of the degree, he completed a work placement at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Prior to joining the NDC Partnership Support Unit, Charlie held positions at J.P. Morgan and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).
He spends much of his free time playing a variety of sports (predominantly football and cricket), and enjoys reading classic literature and philosophy.
