COP31: Meet the Experts — Resilient Cities and NDCs Unlocked

As countries implement their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), cities and urban areas present a critical opportunity for leadership around multi-level governance and accelerated NDC implementation. A total of 80% of NDCs analyzed by UN Habitat have well-developed urban content. And 79 countries are actively pursuing city and subnational government-focused action through the NDC Partnership. Persistent demand for subnational engagement-focused support reflects countries’ prioritization of whole-of-society, multi-level implementation. A clear opportunity exists to scale support to bring these ambitions to life.  

Through a rapid-fire question and answer panel, this event will bring together NDC Partnership members and other leading experts on nature-based solutions to share lessons learned, showcase country-led progress and identify opportunities for deeper collaboration.
