COP31: The Critical Mile of Climate Finance — Unlocking Access through Joint Action
Details
Climate finance is at a crossroads. While global flows continue to grow, Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States remain underserved, and the concessional resources on which countries have relied are becoming increasingly constrained.
Led by LDC and SIDS voices, senior representatives from governments, development banks, climate funds and private finance, this event will cover what each actor must do differently, individually and collectively, to get finance flowing at the scale and speed required. Drawing on practical examples from the ground, the conversation will explore how scarce Official Development Assistance can be used most strategically to unlock finance from all sources.
