COP31: Anniversary Event — From Marrakech to Antalya: 10 Years of the NDC Partnership and a Shared Ambition for the Future

COP31 coincides with the 10th anniversary of the NDC Partnership, which was launched in 2016 at COP22 in Marrakech. At a time when the impacts of climate change are intensifying development, resilience and financing challenges across the region, Morocco has made climate action a priority of its public policies while progressively strengthening the links between climate, development and finance.

As a co-founding country of the NDC Partnership, Morocco offers a unique perspective on a decade of cooperation, providing an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of the NDC Partnership from planning and ambition-setting to accelerating implementation, mobilizing partners and translating climate priorities into investment.

This reflection takes place within the framework of the NDC Partnership 2026–2030 Work Program, looking ahead to the next phase of implementation.
