Partnership Engagement
  • Membership: member since 2020
  • Country Engagement: Since joining the Partnership, Saint Kitts and Nevis has requested support related to improving the quality and ambition of the NDC; improving coordination and whole-of-society approach; and LT-LEDS development. With Partnership support, Saint Kitts and Nevis has developed an NDC Action Plan for the period 2022-2030 prioritizing mitigation and adaptation measures across four key outcome areas: reducing emissions from electricity generation through adoption of renewable energies, reducing electricity consumption, decarbonizing the transport sector, and enhancing resilience across agriculture, water, health, coastal, and tourism sectors. In addition, partners have supported various activities, including NDC revision and capacity to institutionalize youth engagement in climate change.
