Eligibility Criteria

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium that includes at least: a private sector partner, a local partner, an international partner, and any of the following: public/private organisations, NGOs, academia and/or research institutes. One entity may satisfy multiple categories. One entity must be designated as the consortium lead. The consortium lead can be either a local partner or an international partner (both public and private).

The consortium should remain manageable, with clear roles and responsibilities and a high level of local content or presence, as evidenced by a letter or MoU signed by each member. It is highly encouraged to provide an organogram to show the roles and responsibilities of each partner and the governance structure.

The call supports innovative pilot projects related to port and logistics infrastructure, aimed at demonstrating how the integration of traditional infrastructure and Nature-Based Solutions can contribute to strengthening the resilience of coastal infrastructure, promoting the protection and restoration of natural habitats, and supporting the sustainable management of marine and coastal ecosystems.
