Call Summary

The UK Government, through the Mexico UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (UK-PACT) country fund, is inviting organisations to submit Expressions of Interest (EoI) as this cross-sectoral call targeted proposals that strengthen legislative and planning instruments, promote green procurement standards and seek landscape transformation. Through the implementation of Mexico's Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), unlocking climate finance, and harnessing the mitigation potential of the AFOLU sector, it adopts a holistic approach to addressing climate challenges while generating co-benefits for ecosystems and communities.

Proposals should be responsive to Mexico's government priorities, technically sound, and designed to complement ongoing initiatives including other development programmes. While the scope of this call is targeted, applicants are encouraged to demonstrate innovation and collaboration, especially where proposals can help connect regulatory, market, institutional, and social inclusion elements in a coherent way.
